Marquee Sign Changer
Are you a volunteer who wants to reach for the stars? Well here’s your chance to get halfway there. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers who can share changing the marquee on the school sign on Laramie Ave. Volunteers can rotate months to help keep our sign updated.
VOLUNTEER APPROVAL
***All PTO volunteers must be approved in advance by Chicago Public Schools (CPS) central office***
Getting approved is easy, it just takes a couple of minutes:
1. Go to: https://chicagopublicschools.civicore.com/index.php?action=userLogin
2. Click: "Complete a Volunteer Application."
3. Choose LEVEL 2 volunteer when prompted (unless you are applying for a Level 1 position, which is a bit more involved)
4. Bring your Driver's License/ID to Ms. Santana in the Main Office, and tell her you would like be a Beaubien volunteer. Her email address is: esantana2@cps.edu
What if I was approved in past years? Am I still approved approved now?
It is important to login to your account at
https://chicagopublicschools.civicore.com/index.php?action=userLogin
1. Choose: "Complete a volunteer application" (I know, this is not intuitive if you've already completed the application in the past. But that's how CPS does it.)
2. Choose your language
3. Select: "Current Volunteer."
Follow directions from there. You may be asked to send in documentation of a COVID vaccination.
Once that is complete, you must email Ms. Santana at the Beaubien Main Office for school approval again. Her email address is: esantana2@cps.edu
What is the difference between a Level 1 and Level 2 volunteer?

Note: Most Beaubien field trips require Level 1 volunteer status, most PTO events only require Level 2 status.
